Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson grew as a child in Mexico in a family who was passionate about music. She grew up listening mostly to traditional music, old boleros and traditional romantic and ranchero ballads. Ana is an avid fan of tangos. Additionally, she enjoys operas and any form theatrical performance. At age 16 she started singing and studying the piano with her mom. Flavio, a Mexican famous tenor, started to give her more intense singing instruction. At the School of Music of Guadalajara University as well as the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico continued her music education. The beginning of her professional career included performances with a variety of opera choruses, chamber groups and chamber groups in Guadalajara. Following her move from Mexico to America in 2000, she performed in the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. She has performed solo Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. As a teacher and musician, she is committed to numerous community projects due to her enthusiasm and enthusiasm for music. Ana was a member of both the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is presently a professor at the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to Inland Master Chorale members for the permission to sing traditional Latin American song.
