Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig Sept. 21 in 1983) is a famous American actress. Particularly, she appeared as Shannon Rutherford from ABC's Lost TV series and Kim Mills for the Taken Trilogy. After her parents' divorce, she left Worthington in Ohio and moved at Los Angeles. She landed her debut role in the film, Rachel's Room's main character in 2001, despite having a difficult time financially. The film for television Murder in Greenwich that she appeared in, where she played 15-years-old Martha Moxley earned her the nomination of a Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford, a character she played in Lost from 2004 to 2005 was selected for an Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace has worked together with Tom Welling on The Fog during 2005, decided to make the move into the world of film. She was on the screen in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club in both 2007 and Taken (2008) alongside Liam Neeson. She reprised her role as Kim Mills in Taken 2 (2011) and Taken 3 (2013).She also played Alice in Malice in Wonderland, a contemporary adaptation from Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace reprised the role of Shannon in two episodes of Lost as well as the show's finale. She also appeared in the sixth episode of Californication. The character she plays is Faith who's both a star-gazer and groupie. Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny, falls for her. She's a Gyllenhaal, the daughters of Stephen Gyllenhaal (director) and Naomi Achs (producer), and is more senior in age than Jake Gyllenhaal. Her career began as a teenager with small parts in a few films directed that her father directed. She also worked with her brother on the 2001 cult movie Donnie Darko. She appeared next in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind in 2002, and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal received critical acclaim for her performance as a lead character of Secretary (2002) as well as in Sherrybaby (2006), an erotic romance drama drama and Sherrybaby (2006). The actress received a nomination from her fellow actors for the Golden Globe Award. She gained wider recognition when she portrayed Rachel Dawes, a superhero in The Dark Knight (2008) as well as a number of successful commercial films she starred in in 2006. In recognition of her role as an unmarried mother, in Crazy Heart (2009) she was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
